Big Changes Coming To JFK!

Big changes are coming to John F. Kennedy International Airport, and they couldn’t come sooner! Terminal 4 has been under construction since 2010 but it looks like their efforts have been worth the wait. Quikbook Headquarters are in New York City’s Flatiron District, so you know we have personally sampled the eats at the two biggest additions to the terminal—Shake Shack and Blue Smoke! Plus the Flatiron Hotel is right around the corner.

You can now be excited for airport food! In addition to Blue Smoke and Shake Shack, the Terminal will also offer La Brea Bakery, The Palms, Le Grand Comptoir, sushi bar Asobu and organic food market Camden Co. It gets better though; Marcus Samuelsson, the creator of the popular Red Rooster restaurant in Harlem, will be opening two of his own restaurants, Uptown Brasserie and Street Food.

Delta Airlines has also announced the addition of outdoor terrace space to its Club Lounges. Although the outdoor terrace concept will only be launched at JFK Airport in NYC and Hartfield International Airport in Atlanta, initial reaction to Delta’s “Sky Deck” are positive. Don’t pull out that cigarette though; smoking is prohibited! Sky Deck will open at JFK Airport Terminal 4 this May.
